NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., May 30, 2019 – AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach recognized Dailyn Zambrano, a patient ambassador in the environmental services department, with the Starfish Award.
This award recognizes team members that are not nurses, but still provide impactful, compassionate patient care.
Zambrano was nominated for this recognition by a patient.
“Dailyn is one of the most attentive and caring employees. She comes to meet you, asks if you need anything, and makes sure your room is to your standards. She offers to tell your nurse about any issues or services you may need while in or out of the hospital,” the patient wrote in nomination of Zambrano. “Whoever trained her did an exceptional job. Dailyn is an asset to AdventHealth.”
