Gordon Hospital held a dedication ceremony for the CREATION Life Wellness Walk on Tuesday, March 28. Guests in attendance included employees of Gordon Hospital, members of the foundation board, Jeremy Collis of Northwest Georgia Paving, and the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce.

Funded by the employees of Gordon Hospital, Gordon Hospital Foundation, and community partner Northwest Georgia Paving, the CREATION Life Wellness Walk is a beautifully landscaped one-third of a mile pathway designed to provide enjoyment and recreation for the employees of Gordon Hospital and the community.

The dedication ceremony started off with a word of welcome from Kathy Johnson, president of the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce. Pete Weber, president and CEO of Gordon Hospital, then gave a word of thanks and appreciation to all those who donated to make the project a reality. Attendees were also invited to make a 25-year wish for Gordon Hospital on a provided card for a time capsule that will be buried near the CREATION Life Wellness Walk and opened in 25 years.

CREATION healthy snacks were provided, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony took place to represent the official opening of the CREATION Life Wellness Walk.
