AdventHealth Gordon will host a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) class on Wednesday, June 26 from 8 am to 12 pm in Conference Room E.
CPR is a lifesaving technique useful in emergencies in which someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped. Led by an American Heart Association Basic Life Support instructor, attendees will learn CPR for adults, children and infants. They will also learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and what steps to take if they see that someone is choking.
The class is $17 per person, and registration is required. To register, please call Call706-602-7800 x2300.
This month’s topic is “On the Road with Joy.” The special guest speaker is Joy Walker who spends several months a year traveling in her RV.
The AdventHealth Georgia Market recently named Jake Hager as its new foundation director for AdventHealth Gordon, AdventHealth Murray and AdventHealth Redmond.
The AdventHealth Gordon Foundation is offering scholarships to a select group of nursing and allied health students.
