DELAND, Fla., November 8, 2017 On Nov. 6, DeLand Kia donated $22,500 to help fund cancer patients and programs at Florida Hospital DeLand.
In recognition of national breast cancer awareness month, DeLand KIA pledged to give $100 from every car sold in October to the Florida Hospital DeLand Foundation.
Once again, the continued generosity and support received by our friends at DeLand Kia will save lives. We are so grateful, said Maureen Mercho, Florida Hospital DeLand Foundation executive director. The funds donated will provide much needed services for patients facing a cancer diagnosis.
Over the past five years, DeLand Kia has donated more than $100,000 to Florida Hospital DeLand Foundation. Every penny of this donation stays local and supports cancer patients and programs at Florida Hospital DeLand.
