New Nurse Manager Named

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., January 10, 2017 Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center has named Jodi Russo to serve as neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric nurse manager.

In this role, Russo will be responsible for overseeing the nursing team for the Daytona Beach hospitals 16-bed NICU. Opened in August, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Centers NICU cares for newborns 32 weeks and older, and is the only NICU in Volusia County with private, family-centered rooms, allowing parents to stay 24 hours a day with their babies.

Shell also be responsible for the 10-bed inpatient pediatric unit, slated to open spring of 2017.

With nearly a decade of experience, Russo has been with Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in the BirthCare Center since 2012.
