Hospital Staff to Present Research at the Oncology Nursing Society's Annual Conference

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., December 5, 2016 Florida Hospital East Florida Region cancer services administrator Imee Unto, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center nurse navigator Denise Norfolk, and Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center oncology social worker Jenny Ketring have been selected to present at the Oncology Nursing Society's 42nd annual Congress during May 47, 2017, in Denver, Colorado.

Jenny Ketring and Imee Unto will present a poster titled The Benefits of Animal Assisted Visitation in an Outpatient Oncology Setting: A Nursing Perspective, and Denise Norfolk and Imee Unto will do an oral presentation titled The Value of Nurse Navigation in Implementing Lung Cancer Screening Using Low-Dose Computed Tomography.

Both abstracts will also be published in the online Congress issue of the Oncology Nursing Forum.
