Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Names Inpatient Services Director

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., January 8, 2016 Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center has selected Amy Seymour to serve as director of inpatient services. In this role, Seymour will provide leadership to the intensive care unit (ICU), surgical progressive care unit and the surgical unit. Seymour has more than 30 years of nursing leadership experience and most recently served as patient care services director at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, N.Y. In this role, she provided leadership to the hospitals cardiac units including the critical cardiac care unit and the surgical patient care units. An Altamonte Springs resident, Seymour is a board certified nurse executive-advanced and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa.
