You may remember back when surgery was called “going under the knife.” With the developments in surgical techniques, however, that’s not so true anymore. In fact, thanks to minimally invasive surgery procedures like endoscopy, the scalpel is no longer the primary tool we use in surgical situations.

As an alternative, your doctor may utilize endoscopy to examine, diagnose, and treat various areas inside your body using an endoscope, which is a thin, flexible tube fitted with a light and camera. Our surgeons employ a number of different endoscopic procedures, including:
