Around-the-Clock Expert Care
- Leading ER Care for People Experiencing a Heart Attack
Trust your heart health to the experts. AdventHealth Dade City, formerly Florida Hospital Dade City, is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI with Resuscitation. That means you can count on a team with advanced training and technology to deliver the expert emergency medical treatments you need. We understand that time is of the essence and are proud of the fact that the door-to-balloon time in our cardiac catheterization suite is well under the American Heart Association’s 90-minute recommendation. Door-to-balloon time is a key performance quality metric in the treatment of heart attacks and refers to the time between when heart attack symptoms start and when a catheterization balloon has been inserted to open the artery. Trust that our ER team will be at your side at every moment, from working to quickly assess your condition to providing the most compassionate post-cardiac-arrest care.
- Designated Stroke Center
During a stroke, every minute matters. AdventHealth Dade City has been designated a Primary Stroke Center by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA). In order to achieve this designation, a hospital must offer 24/7 care, be equipped with the most advanced diagnostic tools, and work closely with local stroke-trained emergency responders.
That’s not the only way we’re working to improve the care we provide to you, your family, and neighbors. AdventHealth Dade City has also been recognized by the American Heart Association for our achievement in its Get With the Guidelines® – Stroke and Target: Stroke programs. While we’re proud of our awards and designations, we’re even more honored to provide the highest quality of care to the people in our community when they need it most.
