Working Together For Your Child's Health

Founded in August 2011, the main goal of the FBM-BCI Lab is to assist the comprehensive epilepsy surgery program and improve outcomes of epilepsy surgery. We are focusing on implementing brain imaging techniques to investigate cognitive, sensory, and motor function in epilepsy patients. From clinical side, we are closely working with the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center at AdventHealth for Children directed by Dr. Ki Lee, MD. From research side, we are greatly supported by the Center for Pediatric Research at AdventHealth for Children directed by Dr. Patricia Robinson, PhD, CPNP.

We’re here to help you find the right physician or a location that’s convenient for you.

Improving The Lives of Patients Is Who We Are

Here at the Functional Brain Mapping and Brain Computer Interface Lab, we're always pushing the boundaries of study in epilepsy surgery. Our clinical work includes multi-modal imaging fusion for epilepsy surgery, as well as functional brain mapping with ECoG, EEG and fMRI for pre-surgical evaluation. But that's just part of what we're called to do for your child.
