Our Hematology and Oncology APP Fellowship is a 12-month comprehensive program that prepares you for your role as an advanced practice provider. It offers a deeper understanding of hematology and oncology medicine through didactic evidence-based education and structured clinical rotations with sub-specialties within AdventHealth. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain the specialized skills and knowledge needed to become an empathetic and efficient APP who provides whole-person care.

What To Expect From Our Hematology and Oncology Fellowship

In our hematology and oncology fellowship program, APPs are offered a comprehensive and structured training experience designed to enhance their skills and knowledge in managing a variety of patients. Some of the key benefits of our program are below.

  • Advanced Clinical Skills

    Develop critical thinking skills to provide whole-person patient care with evidence-based practice. Gain experience, proficiency and confidence in procedural skills.

  • Specialized Knowledge

    Receive specialized education and clinical exposure to a wide range of subspecialties, including hematology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, stem cell transplantation and palliative care medicine.

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration

    Work with a multidisciplinary team of highly respected physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical pharmacists, nurses and other dedicated health care professionals which helps improve effective communication skills and teamwork for the best patient outcomes.

We welcome your application for our fellowship program in hematology and oncology. Online applications for the next cohort will be available starting July 7, 2025. The deadline for application submission is October 3, 2025. Applicant interviews will be conducted in the Fall 2025, with applicants selected and notified by December 8. This fellowship program has an anticipated start date of April 6, 2026.
