Our Hematology and Oncology APP Fellowship is a 12-month comprehensive program that prepares you for your role as an advanced practice provider. It offers a deeper understanding of hematology and oncology medicine through didactic evidence-based education and structured clinical rotations with sub-specialties within AdventHealth. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain the specialized skills and knowledge needed to become an empathetic and efficient APP who provides whole-person care.

What To Expect From Our Hematology and Oncology Fellowship
In our hematology and oncology fellowship program, APPs are offered a comprehensive and structured training experience designed to enhance their skills and knowledge in managing a variety of patients. Some of the key benefits of our program are below.

Advanced Clinical Skills

Program Requirements and How to Apply
- Eligible Applicants

- Any graduated AG-ACNP/ACNP or PA-C
- Current AG-ACNP/ACNP or PA students currently enrolled in an accredited program
- Requirements Prior to Program Start

- Curriculum vitae/resume
- One-page statement of interest
- Transcripts from graduate education program — if you are a current student, send transcripts reflective of status within the program (minimum GPA of 3.5 required)
- Copy of BLS and ACLS certifications
- Three letters of recommendation addressing clinical experience, clinical knowledge, critical thinking and professionalism — specifications for letters of recommendation found on application

Fellows are selected based on demonstrated academic and clinical achievement, commitment to practice in a critical care environment, motivation, communication skills, overall maturity and growth mindset.
Upon acceptance of the online application, applicants must be available for an interview with program staff at AdventHealth. All travel-related costs are at the expense of the candidate.
Successful applications will meet all hiring requirements of the AdventHealth Medical Group Human Resources Department.

After completing the AdventHealth Medical Group APP Fellowship, participants will receive a certificate of completion issued by the program, signed by the program directors and medical directors, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) statement and an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) as applicable.
Full-time employment offers are contingent upon position availability and performance review.
