Grow Your Skills in Urology
Urology is a rewarding and challenging medical specialty that encompasses a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient care as well as surgical intervention. APPs interested in this field will work in multiple settings alongside a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals using advanced technologies and treatments to diagnose and manage this diverse population of patients.
The field of urology involves caring for patients with a wide range of conditions, from kidney stones and urologic cancers to voiding dysfunction and recurrent UTIs.
Urology APPs should be prepared to bring professionalism and compassion to a field that is in demand due to an aging population with an increasing prevalence of urologic issues. This program is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exemplary care to patients who are dealing with vulnerable conditions and commonly require a multifaceted approach to care. Urology offers multiple subspecialties as well as a work-life balance that’s not always possible in other surgical fields.
