Director of Internal Communications for AdventHealth Orlando
Mike O’Lenick is the Director of Internal Communications for AdventHealth Orlando. After more than a 10 year career in local television news, O’Lenick has adopted a newsroom-style Internal Communications department to both serve the needs of hospital leaders and engage 32,000 employees across the state on key hospital priorities. Soon after its launch, O’Lenick received the “Best of Show” award by the Florida Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing for the weekly employee video webcast he produces that has become an embedded part of the organization’s culture. AdventHealth Orlando is the busiest hospital system in the country and uses a variety of internal communication outlets to achieve the organization’s goals and maintain a very high level of employee engagement.
