Heart Disease is a broad term and actually consists of several conditions. The most common condition is Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) which has the potential to lead to complications including arrhythmias, heart failure, angina, and heart attack.1 Approximately 785,000 Americans have their first heart attack every year. While another 470,000, who have already had one or more heart attacks, have another attack.2

Team members at The Spine Center at Altamonte will participate in the 2011 Greater Orlando Heart Walk sponsored by the American Heart Association on September 17th at Loch Haven Park. Walkers will cover a 3.1 mile course in support of a great cause.

If you or someone you know has been affected by Heart Disease join us in our walk for a healthy heart.
