Foot Disorders
Our physicians are capable of diagnosing and treating a broad array of foot disorders that may either be acquired at birth or caused by injury or disease thereafter. A select list of such disorders includes accessory tarsal navicular syndrome (where an extra piece of bone or cartilage on the inner side of the foot causes pain), Sever’s disease (swelling and pain in the heel’s growth plate), cavus foot deformity (a high arch and inward turned foot), clubfoot, flat feet, and more. In adulthood, corns and calluses, bunions, hammer toes, neuromas and plantar warts may also require medical treatment. Depending on the specific foot disorder, treatments may include custom orthotics and a variety of corrective surgeries.
