Congenital heart disease refers to any heart abnormality with which you are born. Types of congenital heart disease include pulmonary and aortic stenosis; atrial septal, ventricular septal and AV canal defects; coarctation of the aorta; patent ductus arteriosus; hypoplastic left heart syndrome; Tetralogy of Fallot; anomalous pulmonary venous return; transposition of the great vessels; and truncus arteriosus.
