Health System Administration and Leadership Post-Graduate Year 2 Residency Program (HSPAL)

The AdventHealth Corporate HSPAL residency program seeks to develop our residents' competence in delivering patient-centered care and pharmacy business services. This program prepares future leaders who can assume leadership and managerial responsibilities and lays the foundation for continued growth in pharmacy management.

The program offers an immersive and inspirational learning experience with a wide range of learning experience options led by experienced, highly trained faculty. The program provides opportunities to work with health care leaders across our 50+ hospital system.

About AdventHealth

Headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Florida, AdventHealth operates 50+ facilities across nine states. We are the second-largest hospital system in Florida and the 15th-largest in the United States. Our whole-person approach to health care is designed to help patients reclaim their health to live life to the fullest.

About Our Residency Program

In an environment that prioritizes whole-person care, the AdventHealth HSPAL PGY-2 Residency allows residents to learn from prominent leaders within the health care system. To prepare residents for leadership roles, our curriculum builds upon the clinical pharmacy and operational services proficiency of PGY-1 residency graduates. In addition to learning how to manage financial resources, create collaborative practice teams, lead process improvement efforts, and conduct medical staff committees, each resident will have access to mentorship at the corporate office.
