Virtual Lemonade Stand will raise funds for kids battling cancer at the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute
ORLANDO, Fla., August 6, 2013 “ Ten-year-old Mark McHale is sharing his generosity this summer by donating the proceeds from his lemonade stand to Florida Hospital Cancer Institute. Mark Collected $168 to support kids battling cancer at Florida Hospital Cancer Institute by building and managing his own lemonade stand right here in Central Florida. Starting from scratch Mark drew blueprints, strategized a marketing plan, and built the structure that would help run his business.
Inspired by his generosity, Florida Hospital Foundation has helped Mark to take this pay-it-forward business model worldwide with a virtual lemonade stand on the internet using CelebrateGenerosity.org. This virtual, online-giving platform allows friends, family, and community members inspired by Mark's generosity to support his campaign for kids with cancer.
