TAVARES, Fla., August 10, 2020 – Pulmonologist Dr. J. Ryan Schroeder has joined AdventHealth Medical Group.
As an AdventHealth Medical Group physician, Schroeder joins AdventHealth’s employed group of physicians across Central Florida with more than 1,200 providers, including primary care doctors and specialists.
Schroeder is board certified in pulmonology and critical care with 10 years of experience. He most recently served as a pulmonary attending physician in Palm Beach County area hospitals for four years.
In his new practice, Schroeder will specialize in asthma, chronic cough, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, smoking cessation, pulmonary hypertension and lung cancer work-up including EBUS bronchoscopy.
Schroeder received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He was selected for a prestigious pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he capped his tenure as chief fellow.
He is an active member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians and American College of Physicians.
His practice accepts most insurance plans and new patients ages 18 years and older. His office is located at 1876 Nightingale Lane, Tavares, and can be reached at Call352-742-4447.
