PetSmart Donates Stuffed Animals for Pediatric Patients

ORANGE CITY, Fla., December 20, 2017 On Dec. 15, the Altamonte Springs PetSmart store donated more than 400 stuffed animals to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial.

These plush dogs and cats will be given to children who come into the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial emergency department.

Each year, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial cares for approximately 10,000 patients under the age of 18 in the emergency department.

This gift of stuffed animals from PetSmart will be a source of comfort for kids who visit us, often during very frightening circumstances, when they are either sick or hurt, said John Lazarus, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial emergency department director.
