James Middleton remembers thinking his usual morning cup of coffee didn’t taste good. But when the lightheadedness and cold sweats started, he told his wife, Betty, he needed to go to the ER. When the two got to AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, the team went straight to work. Later, when James woke up in his room, he learned he’d been dead for 2 minutes.
Middleton recounts in a recent interview how Dr. Yazan Alkhouri and the cath lab team worked to bring him back more than a dozen times.
