AdventHealth Gordon recently had the privilege of hosting nine nursing students from Japan, who visited as part of a special educational partnership with Southern Adventist University and AdventHealth.
The students explored various departments of the hospital, learning about the diverse services offered. A highlight of their visit was putting on the "bunny suits" and visiting with Hak Lee, MD., urologic oncologist and director of robotics, as he shared with them AdventHealth Gordon’s commitment to providing the best possible technology and medical staff for their patients and the community.
Students also received insights into American insurance and finance systems, broadening their understanding of health care operations in the United States.
The visit concluded with a dinner where the students reflected on their experience.
AdventHealth Gordon welcomes opportunities to foster international learning and collaboration in the field of health care.
