PALM COAST, Fla., February 1, 2019 – On Jan. 28, Flagler County Commissioner Greg Hansen installed the AdventHealth Palm Coast volunteer auxiliary’s 2019 board members.
The new board includes: Marge Sisti as president, JoAnn Durand as first vice president, Marcus Ellison as second vice president, Kerry Lawrence as recording secretary, Kitty VanHorn as corresponding secretary, Jeannette Kainu as treasurer, Angie Troike as assistant treasurer, and Carol Bryant as past president. Maggie Bunker and Patty Mercer will serve as members at large.
Each board member will serve a two-year term and is responsible for overseeing, guiding and training all the committees and areas the volunteer auxiliary serve.
In May of 1980, the hospital’s volunteer auxiliary was formed with 53 Flagler County residents. Today, Florida Hospital Flagler has more than 175 active volunteers assisting in 25 departments throughout the hospital.
Collectively, this group of volunteers has donated more than 1.6 million hours in service to AdventHealth Palm Coast.
