PALM COAST, Fla., May 13, 2019 — Local group Quilters by the Sea Ormond Beach donated 12 handmade quilts to comfort children in AdventHealth Palm Coast’s emergency department.
Each quarter, the Quilters by the Sea selects different community organizations to donation their quilts to.
“I know firsthand how much love and time goes into making each of these quilts,” said Dr. Stephen Coltharp, emergency medicine physician at AdventHealth Palm Coast. Coltharp’s mother-in-law is a member of Quilters by the Sea.
“The children that come through our ER will truly appreciate these and will find comfort in them,” Coltharp added.
