PALM COAST, Fla., March 27, 2018 On March 21, Florida Hospital Flagler hosted the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce's 25th Leadership Flagler Class.

The group toured the 99-bed Palm Coast hospital, where participants received a behind-the-scenes look at the emergency department, the operating room, the intensive care unit, and the eight-bed Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House.

Leadership Flagler is a three-month program for community leaders that seeks to deepen participants understanding of Flagler County, including its issues and opportunities, and encourages members actively advocate for positive change within the community. Each year, 15 to 20 candidates from Flagler County's diverse business community are selected through a competitive selection process.

Leadership Flagler is one of nearly 700 programs nationwide devoted to shaping high-profile community leaders. Since its start in 1993, Leadership Flagler has graduated more than 210 professionals.
