AdventHealth Gordon is pleased to announce that James Keeton, MSN, CMSRN, RN-BC, has been named director of inpatient nursing at AdventHealth Gordon.
Keeton previously worked as a clinical nurse manager in Floyd County and has experience working as a floor nurse and charge nurse in med-surg, oncology and stepdown environments. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Huntsville. Keeton is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board.
“I feel extremely blessed and excited to join the AdventHealth team,” said Keeton. “I look forward to collaborating with an already amazing team to serve the needs of our community and further our mission. It is an absolute honor to be here, and I am humbled by this opportunity.”
Outside of his profession, Keeton enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and two children, Corbyn and Emilyn. He also enjoys football, baseball, card collecting and memorabilia collecting.
