iDignity helps AdventHealth team member get back on her feet
Karelyn Rodriguez lost everything during the pandemic. She lost her car, house, identification documents and other possessions, and began living on the streets. Without her ID, Karelyn could not get a job, cash a check, obtain housing and so much more. With the help of iDignity, AdventHealth’s community partner, she was able to get back on her feet and join the AdventHealth family.
iDignity collaborates with government agencies, churches, businesses and the community to assist the disadvantaged through the complex process of obtaining legal identification. Having legal identification provides empowering benefits to individuals and cultivates a more inclusive, productive and secure society.
“Once you get your identity back, everything starts to fall into place,” said Rodriguez.
