Thursday, May 15– AdventHealth Manchester is thrilled to announce the success of "The Good Continues" event, held at Rawlings and Stinson Park on May 15, 2025. This annual event brought together the community of Clay County for a day dedicated to health, wellness, and community spirit.
Event Highlights:
- Health Screenings: We completed 10 cardiac screenings, 15 blood pressure checks, provided mammogram education, and shared information on our upcoming community smoking cessation class.
- Educational Booths: Participants received education on hospital infusion and CCTA programs, and visited booths for Behavioral Health, Home Care, and Chronic Care Management.
- Emergency Room Department: Our team discussed our Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation, provided free blood pressure checks, and distributed various heart and stroke education materials.
- Community Engagement: Participants received UK Heart Gill & AdventHealth Manchester branded t-shirts with the message, "Bless Your Heart," for heart education.
- Department Participation: Our Pediatric and Primary Care Departments also actively participated in the event.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mayor Stevie Collins and Danielle Collins for their unwavering dedication and passion in making this free event possible for the public every year. Their efforts have truly made a difference in our community.

The Leslie County High School Cheer Team added a magical touch to the night by dressing as Disney princesses, delighting our community's children and creating unforgettable memories.
