DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., March 18, 2019 – Board certified general surgeon Dr. Gregory Burgoyne has joined the AdventHealth Medical Group.
As an AdventHealth Medical Group physician, Burgoyne joins AdventHealth’s employed group of physicians with more than 300 providers, including 160 primary care doctors and specialists in Volusia and Flagler counties.
In his practice, Burgoyne cares for patients age 8 and older, and performs open and minimally invasive surgery with a focus on hernias, abdominal wall reconstruction, and endoscopy.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and completed an internship and residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
He has practiced MedStar Union Memorial Hospital since 2013 and has also served as the director of surgical research and residency program director.
Burgoyne is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
He is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
His office is located inside AdventHealth Daytona Beach’s medical office building at 305 Memorial Medical Pkwy., Suite 209, Daytona Beach. His practice accepts most insurance plans and can be reached at Call386-231-3520.
