April Gallman, RN, has been named AdventHealth Murray's latest DAISY Award recipient. This award is part of the DAISY Foundation's program to recognize the super-human tasks nurses perform every day.
April Gallman, who works on the medical surgical unit (Med/Surg), was nominated by a fellow team member for the DAISY Award. The nominating team member described Gallman as someone who always goes the extra mile for her patients and wrote the following:
“April is always spending extra time with her patients even when she doesn’t have it to spare. She makes sure everyone gets baths even on the busy days. Her patients don’t know how busy she is because she still takes the time to stop and talk with them. All of her patients love her, and she always goes above and beyond for them.”
If you or a loved one has been a patient at AdventHealth Murray and would like to nominate an extraordinary nurse for the DAISY Award, please call 706-602-7800 x2258.
