AdventHealth has been recognized on Fortune’s list of America’s Most Innovative Companies 2023, an award that honors companies that are transforming industries from the inside out. Fortune and market research experts at Statista used research-based methodology that is built on three pillars: product innovation, process innovation and innovation culture.
According to Fortune, the research that informed the list is based on data gathered from employees and experts, including management consultants, patent attorneys, recruiters and HR experts.

AdventHealth’s innovation ecosystems and research institutes implement the latest medical technologies across the system’s more than 50 hospitals and conduct hundreds of clinical research studies and pilots led by clinical leaders who have been recognized among the top 2% of scientists worldwide. More than 640 active studies are currently in progress at the AdventHealth Research Institute, which are designed to improve health care outcomes and find cures for a wide range of diseases.
As part of an ongoing journey to enhance its team member and consumer experience, the AdventHealth Design Center employs design thinking to help unlock solutions for health care’s various challenges. Its three pillars of empathy research, co-creation and iterative prototyping expresses the Design Center’s problem-solving philosophy that has yielded countless innovations to help the health system deliver its brand promise of wholeness to its team members and consumers.
