ORANGE CITY, Fla., May 15, 2017 In honor of National Healthcare Volunteer Week, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial hosted a volunteer appreciation tea on May 9.
Over a formal tea service, complete with antique tea cups and sweets, the volunteers each received a white rose with a personal handwritten note and angel pin.
Florida Hospital Fish Memorial currently has 85 active volunteers assisting in many departments throughout the hospital. Last year, the volunteers at the Orange City hospital contributed nearly 13,000 hours of service to patients, families and staff.
