AdventHealth Medical Group is pleased to announce that Daniel Webb, MD, has joined AdventHealth Medical Group Neurosurgery at Rome.
Dr. Webb joins John A. Cowan, Jr., MD, FAANS; Jason Harrison, MD, PhD, FAANS; Alex Whitaker-Lea, MD; Angela Ewing, PA-C, and the care team at AdventHealth Medical Group Neurosurgery at Rome, which offers a wide range of medical services for its patients. The clinicians provide comprehensive services and solutions that help patients with conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord and nerves.
Dr. Webb works collaboratively with you and a multidisciplinary team to accomplish the desired treatment goals with care and compassion. “I feel that neurosurgery is my mission field, and I am honored to be able to provide comprehensive spine care for my patients,” Dr. Webb said.
He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and he completed his complex spine fellowship and neurosurgical residency at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is board-certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
His specialties include:
· Anterior cervical diskectomy and fusion, anterior lumbar interbody fusion, burr holes for removal of hematoma cervical disk arthroplasty, craniectomy for brain trauma and tumors, cranioplasty, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty
· Laminectomy, minimally invasive posterior cervical foraminotomies, diskectomy/laminectomy, lumbar fusion, oblique and lateral lumbar interbody fusion
· Open reduction and internal fixation of spine fractures, percutaneous instrumentation for fixation of spine fractures, posterior cervical decompression and fusion and laminectomy
· Posterior lumbar interbody fusion and stereotactic brain biopsies
· Transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion, total posterior spine system (TOPS) procedure and ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt placement
Outside the office, Dr. Webb enjoys spending time with his family and raising his daughter.
