Achieving a healthier lifestyle is a common goal that is often difficult to begin without support. CREATION Life classes are based upon eight principles for healthy living- choice, rest, environment, activity, trust, interpersonal relationships, outlook and nutrition. These courses are designed to teach the community how to become mentally fit, physically robust and spiritually vital. Each uniquely designed course combines elements of the eight principles to teach participants a healthier way of life.
CREATION Life classes are focused on health promotion and disease prevention, says Candace Huber, Director of Mission Development, AdventHealth Waterman. Anyone can receive real health benefits from implementing the lessons taught in each class, whatever their health status.
Held in the Conry CREATION Life Center at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, the classes offered this season include:
Yum- Yum Club: Join in these fun classes and prepare meals with flavor and flair. You will be instructed in food prep by our executive chef and registered dietitian, followed by sample tasting of all recipes prepared.
