Care teams across Adventist Health System recognized for excellence in patient experience

Adventist Health System has announced the care teams across the system that excelled at fostering an exceptional patient experience. Teams earned recognition based on feedback and information gathered from patient experience surveys that were administered over a one-year period.

'With each patient and consumer interaction, we strive to deliver an exceptional experience that embodies our mission,' said Terry Shaw, president/CEO for Adventist Health System. 'I commend the efforts of the care teams honored this year to uphold our high standard of care, which personifies our systemwide focus on enhancing every aspect of care delivery.'

As Adventist Health System works to engage consumers more closely in their health, gathering insights directly from patients and families, such as the feedback garnered from the patient experience surveys, allows the organization to enhance care delivery across the continuum.

'We are proud to recognize those that excelled in patient experience with awards across various patient care settings,' said Pam Guler, vice president and chief experience officer for Adventist Health System. 'Patient feedback is critical to providing exceptional, wholistic care, and the information gathered from surveys not only enables us to recognize top performers in patient experience, it also helps us implement ways to elevate care and experience at numerous touch points across the system.'
