Today, Adventist Health System's 28th annual Conference on Mission gets underway in Maitland, Florida. The conference is an opportunity for church leaders, physicians and AHS leadership to come together to share and celebrate how Christ's healing ministry is making an impact systemwide and in communities across the organization's footprint. The theme for this year's Conference on Mission is 'Healing, Health and Wholeness.'
Guest speakers include Carla Gober, assistant vice president of spiritual life and director of the Center for Spiritual Life and Wholeness at Loma Linda University, who will deliver the keynote address; and Randy Roberts, senior pastor at Loma Linda Seventh-day Adventist Church, who will deliver the sermon at the Sabbath worship service.
In addition, attendees will hear and see powerful stories of how new mission-focused programs, services and initiatives are helping deliver transformative whole-person care for individuals and communities.
