IDG's Insider Pro and Computerworld have named AdventHealth to its list of the 2020 Best Places to Work in IT as one of the 100 top organizations in the nation for employing information technology professionals.
“Information technology plays a critical role in the delivery of care for consumers across our continuum of health services,” said Brent Snyder, executive vice president and chief information officer for AdventHealth. “I am thankful for the team members across our organization whose dedication and expertise make it possible for us to leverage the latest technological innovations to support the advancement of our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.”
In the 27th year of the awards program, AdventHealth ranked 43rd on the 2020 list among large organizations – those with 5,000 or more U.S. employees. The organization's IT department, AdventHealth Information Technology (AIT) manages and oversees its robust business systems and information technology solutions across its network of hospitals, home health and hospice agencies, skilled nursing facilities, physician practices and business offices.
“As technology continues to evolve more rapidly than ever, attracting and retaining top IT talent to research, deploy and maintain that technology has never been more important or more challenging,” said Mark Lewis, vice president of audience development at IDG’s Insider Pro. “Companies that have earned a spot on the Insider Pro and Computerworld 2020 Best Place to Work in IT list share a common denominator: They create an environment that not only rewards workers with competitive compensation and benefits, but they also foster a spirit of diversity, social responsibility, training and innovation.”
The list of organizations named the 2020 Best Places to Work in IT will be published in a special report on IDGInsiderPro.com and Computerworld.com.
