NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., March 29, 2019 – Emergency medicine physician Dr. Jose Rosado received the AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach physician of the year award.
Each year, employees at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach nominate and vote for the top doctor who is compassionate and caring in the treatment of patients, and provides safe, accessible, high-quality care.
The nominations for Rosado spoke highly of his care and character.
“Dr. Rosado goes above and beyond to make his patients happy,” stated one nomination. “He even makes the extra effort to go to the floor and follow up with patients when possible. He excels in patient care!”
“Of all the years I’ve worked in a hospital setting, this is the first physician I’ve had nothing but the best things to say about. Incredibly easy doctor to talk to, knowledgeable, kind, goes above and beyond for his patients,” another nomination stated. “His main goal is to help everyone he can. I have so much respect for Dr. Rosado and I know he deserves physician of the year.”
Dr. Rosado is a member of Emergency Medicine Professionals (EMPros), an Ormond Beach-based, emergency medicine physician practice that staffs AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach’s emergency department.
“I am honored to present Dr. Rosado as our physician of the year. He is well respected by colleagues and staff alike,” said Dr. Dennis Hernandez, AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach chief executive officer. “We are appreciative of his dedication, care and compassion towards his patients and teammates.”
