NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. May 29, 2019 — The AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Auxiliary and Foundation have both awarded scholarships to New Smyrna Beach High School seniors.
The AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Auxiliary awarded $6,000 in total to three students: William Fox, Kaitlynn Hunsberger and Daniel “Kai” Roche.
The AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Foundation awarded Miranda Pawlak with a $3,000 scholarship from the Charlie and Elaine Meyer Scholarship fund.
In 2008, Charlie and Elaine Meyer established this endowed scholarship to provide a New Smyrna Beach High School student with a scholarship to pursue a medical degree. Each year, an AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Foundation committee reviews the applications and selects the recipient.
