FLAGLER, LAKE AND VOLUSIA COUNTIES, Fla., May 21, 2019 – Debi McNabb has been selected to serve as the director of community benefit for the AdventHealth facilities in Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties.
The director of community benefit position is a newly created strategic role for the organization. In this new role, McNabb will oversee the community health needs assessments and the community health plans for the AdventHealth hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties. McNabb will collaborate with AdventHealth teams in Lake County and the Orlando-area to ensure continuity. McNabb is also responsible for directing and tracking engagement with key community partners and area businesses that help support and further the organization’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
McNabb has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare marketing and community relations and has been with AdventHealth for 12 years. She most recently served as the director of marketing and public relations for AdventHealth Fish Memorial and AdventHealth DeLand.
She is also a children’s book illustrator and has previously worked with rescued dolphins at Mote Marine Whale and Dolphin Hospital.
An Orange City resident, McNabb earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art and a Bachelor of Science in advertising from the University of Florida and she is accredited in public relations.
McNabb is a 2006 graduate of the Leadership DeLand program. In addition, she has worked closely with several community agencies, including the DeLand Noon Rotary. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Volusia/Flagler Counties. She previously served on the board of directors for the Florida Public Relations Society Volusia-Flagler Chapter, Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce, Gateway Center for the Arts, and American Cancer Society.
