AdventHealth Murray hosted Dinner, Doctors and Discussions, an educational event for the community, on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Orthopedic surgeon Adam Land, MD, of AdventHealth Medical Group Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, discussed non-operative and surgical options for knee and hip arthritis, and attendees had the opportunity to ask him orthopedic-related questions.
Dr. Land is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in adult reconstructive surgery as well as other orthopedic procedures such as knee and shoulder arthroscopy, pediatrics and fracture care. He specializes in routine and complex hip and knee replacement. Dr. Land, who is originally from Ellijay, Georgia, is a graduate of Mercer University School of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed residency in Northeast Ohio followed by fellowship training at Emory where he learned from some of the national leaders in the field of joint replacement.
