DELAND, Fla., July 25, 2018 AdventHealth DeLand has named Shaun Nebblett to serve as director of human resources.
In this role, Nebblett will provide strategic human resource guidance to the leadership team, as well as oversee and support all employee-related programs to ensure strategic and mission alignment to AdventHealth DeLand’s goals and priorities.
Nebblett has more than 33 years of progressive, awarded experience in human resources, with the last 15 years in senior leadership roles. She began her career in human resources at AdventHealth Orlando, but the bulk of her time has been in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area, working for large government contractors involved in global defense and space and earth sciences, including Hughes Aircraft Company and Raytheon Company.
Most recently, she served as the director of human resources for SENTEL Corporation in Alexandria, Virginia, where she developed innovative strategies and improved efforts in recruitment, retention, government regulations, employment law and business operations.
A DeLand resident, Nebblett received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
