DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 6, 2019 – AdventHealth Daytona Beach recognized Dr. Cecille Tapia-Santiago, OB-GYN and medical director of the Birth Care Center at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, as the physician of the quarter.
"Dr. Tapia-Santiago is an amazing person and physician. She truly cares for her patients and their unborn babies,” a colleague wrote in a nomination form. “She sets an example with her great attitude and amazing bedside manner. She kindly informs the patients of their options, different plans of care and makes them feel like part of the decision-making process, of which the patients appreciate more than she knows."
"Dr. Tapia-Santiago is by far the best physician I have ever worked with,” another wrote in a nomination. "She is very compassionate and caring when it comes to her patients and staff. She makes you feel like you are family. She is always smiling and is always very positive."
