Gordon Hospital and Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center were recently recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review, making its list of 100 Great Community Hospitals for 2018.
The hospitals included on this list are recognized for quality, patient satisfaction and overall excellence. The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected the hospitals based on analysis, awards, recognition and information from various outside rankings and ratings organizations, including IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals, iVantage Health Analytics, The Chartis Center for Rural Health's Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals, CareChex ratings, Leapfrog Group grades, Healthgrades awards and CMS stars, among other considerations.
The list of 100 Great Community Hospitals features community hospitals that are independent as well as those affiliated with large health systems. In creating the list, Becker’s Hospital Review considered hospitals with no more than 550 beds.
Becker’s Hospital Review is a leading national health care publication that provides business and legal news and analysis about hospitals and health systems.
