At our AdventHealth Cancer Institute, we explore every possible option to help you heal in body, mind and spirit. One of the ways we do this is through clinical trials for experiential new therapies, groundbreaking medications and new diagnostic testing.
We offer patients access to clinical trials for all types of cancer, from brain and spine cancer to breast and lung cancer. If your care team believes you may benefit and qualify for one of our clinical trials, they’ll guide you through enrollment with your Nurse Navigator supporting you.
Getting Started
All clinical trials follow an action plan approved by the Institutional Review Board. Before you confirm your participation, your Nurse Navigator will guide you through what to expect, including the fine print, so you can continue with confidence.
Your registered Clinical Research Center Nurse and Clinical Trial Investigators will review your medical history and diagnosis to determine if you’re eligible for a clinical trial.
We’ll walk you through the purpose of your study, the details of your treatment and any possible side effects. We’ll also let you know when and how you can leave a clinical trial, if at any point you feel it’s not for you.
