Urologist Named the Physician of the Quarter

PALM COAST, Fla., April 20, 2017 On April 12, Florida Hospital Flagler named urologist Dr. Terrence Regan as the physician of the quarter for 2017s first quarter.

Dr. Regan has an excellent bedside manner and does an excellent job explaining diagnoses to patients and their family, as well as advising on the various treatment options such as palliative care and hospice in addition to the surgical options he can provide, one of his colleagues said in his nomination.

Dr. Regan is fully engaged in the hospital's medical executive committee and thoroughly participates to ensure that the committee is doing their best work for the good of the hospital, another wrote in a nomination.

Regan earned a medical degree and completed his residency training in urology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a former president of the Florida Urological Society.

Locally, Regan has served on various leadership committees at Florida Hospital Flagler, including 10 years on the medical executive committee, as well we serving as chief of staff from 2010 to 2012.

Dr. Regan is so deserving of this recognition. He is a team player and always willing to lend a hand to colleagues, said Dr. Ron Thomas, Florida Hospital Flagler chief medical officer. In the past 20 years, he has cared for so many in our community. Flagler County is blessed to have him here!
