PALM COAST, Fla., December 9, 2016 On Dec. 8, Florida Hospital Flagler hosted a community open house for board-certified gastroenterologist Dr. Issam Nasr.
From 10 am to 2 pm, the community toured his office, located inside Florida Hospital Flagler at 61 Memorial Medical Pkwy., Suite 2815, Palm Coast, and met one-on-one with Nasr.
Nasr has joined the Florida Hospital Flagler medical staff at in November and has 10 years of experience. He is one of the few gastroenterologists in the area who is also fellowship trained in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), a minimally invasive procedure to assess gastrointestinal disease.
Nasr attended and graduated with honors from medical school from American University of Beirut. He completed an internal medicine residency, as well as a gastroenterology fellowship and an endoscopy fellowship at University of Iowa.
In his new practice at Florida Hospital Flagler, Nasr focuses on diagnosing and treating acid reflux disease (also known as GERD), liver disease, hemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gluten allergies, and more.
