U.S. News & World Report Recognizes AdventHealth as #1 in Florida and #1 in Orlando
Choosing a health care provider or hospital isn’t always a straightforward task. After all, there are more choices today than ever before. You need information compiled from reliable data to help guide you to the decision that’s right for you. Annual rankings from established and credible organizations, such as U.S. News and World Report, can provide valuable insights on providers and hospitals.
The newly released 2019–2020 Best Hospital rankings by U.S. News & World Report recognize AdventHealth for outstanding programs and services based on clinical services, quality of care, patient safety and reputation.
With some of the best outcomes of any health system in the nation, AdventHealth Orlando is humbled to hold the #1 position for Best Regional Hospitals in the Orlando metropolitan area, including Kissimmee and Sanford. AdventHealth is also ranked #1 in Florida. This recognition places AdventHealth among an elite group of hospitals nationwide —with more than 5,000 medical centers evaluated.
Why Hospital Rankings Matter
Rating and ranking programs help provide valuable, data-based information about a hospital and how they perform in a specific area. Using objective measures, rankings can show you how well a hospital performs in areas of survival, readmission rates, nursing quality, safety, patient experience and other clinical data —which all play a factor in helping you make informed decisions about where to seek quality, compassionate care.
Rankings can also provide a foundation for those searching for the best care for heart disease, lung cancer, colon cancer and orthopedic conditions that require a knee or hip replacement.
