Manchester Memorial Hospital (MMH) proudly named Darryle Chivers (non-clinical) and Judy Thompson (clinical) as Simply the Best Employees for the second quarter of 2018.
Darryle and Judy were recognized for their positive attitudes, helpful nature, and exemplifying the hospitals mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ.
Darryle has been a tremendous asset to our team. He never has a negative comment to the team or patients and is always asking how he can help someone. His is eager to learn and grow and I really believe he embodies our mission every day, said David Watson, Executive Director of Plant Services.
Roxann May, a former MMH employee and patient said, While I was a patient at the hospital, Judy went above and beyond her duties. After having done my MRI, Judy took me back to my room and I felt very nauseous. Instead of calling a nurse, Judy took care of me. She is a very compassionate person and shows concern for her patients. She is a great asset to Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Each quarter, MMH names one clinical and one non-clinical Simply The Best employee based on the demonstration of extraordinary dedication to their work. Employees are nominated by their supervising managers/team leads/directors and the hospitals C-suite, along with other senior staff, determines winners based on those nominations. At the end of the year, two employees from the 8 chosen, are recognized as employees of the year for exemplary service.
