DELTONA, Fla., July 12, 2019 – Construction is progressing on the AdventHealth Deltona ER.
Located on more than four acres near Deltona High School at 3108 Howland Blvd., construction on the 12-bed freestanding emergency department began in January and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
When it opens, the AdventHealth Deltona ER will care for both adults and children and will offer the same services found in hospital emergency rooms, including imaging and laboratory services.
Featuring an efficient design, the 14,000-square foot facility represents a $12 million investment in the Deltona community’s healthcare and accommodates the option to expand and add additional services in the future.
Once completed, approximately 40 full-time employees will be hired to staff the emergency department.
The architect is Orlando-based HuntonBrady and the contractor is Batson Cook.
